About Timezone Converter

The converter resolves the moment you enter in the source zone, then re-renders that same instant in the target zone using the browser's Intl.DateTimeFormat engine and the IANA timezone database built into your browser. That matters because daylight saving rules change: because the lookup happens live, a date in July and a date in January for the same pair of cities will show different offsets, exactly as they should.

The offset row shows the signed difference in hours and minutes, and the day-shift row tells you whether the target date lands on the previous or following day — the classic source of missed meetings across the Pacific and Indian Ocean regions. The "same moment around the world" panel lists the equivalent local time in several major cities at once, which is the fastest way to find a call slot that works for everyone.
